Submission and Reviews

The review process of the workshop is double blind at the level of Program Committee members (PC) and the authors. Our submission requirements are followed by the paper submission requirements of IJCAI 2021.

The review process does not involve authors feedback and rebuttals. Upon acceptance, the program chairs/committees will select several papers as oral presentations in the workshop, as well as the best paper award among all the submissions. The best papers of the workshop will have the opportunity to be invited as a submission to a Special Issue of Pattern Recognition.

Scope

This workshop targets researchers and practitioners from both industry and academia to provide a forum in which to publish recent state-of-the-art achievements in the Long-Tailed Distribution Learning (LTDL) area in CV, PR, DM, NLP, etc. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Long-tailed problems in computer vision
  • Long-tailed problems in pattern recognition
  • Long-tailed problems in data mining
  • Long-tailed problems in natural language processing
  • Imbalanced learning / data imbalanced
  • Heavy-tailed distribution
  • Long-tailed distribution in terms of data domain
  • Cost-sensitive learning
  • Transfer learning from head classes to tail classes
  • Novel benchmark data of long-tailed distribution
  • Data sampling methods
  • Extreme multi-label learning
  • Imbalanced named entity recognition
  • Self-supervised learning
